Large Old Vintage Oil Painting 1940's Young Man Portrait Signed National Academy
Original large young man portrait oil painting. I acquired this painting along with several others done from the same artist and dates range from the 1940's-1950's. Some of the paintings are signed what I believe (Van Der Voort), dated and were they where painted. Most of his/her training was at The Central Park School of Art and the National Academy. This painting is dated on the back in paint March 8, 1948. It also has National Academy and what I think may be the models name hand written in ink. Anvas is off it's stretcher and was stored folded in half for some years. Colors are bright and there are no rips, tears or repairs. Please review all photos and judge condition for yourself.
