Vintage ABSTRACT MODERNIST BRUTALIST ARCHITECTONIC OIL PAINTING MID CENTURY MODERN Signed. Raw, architectonic painting with extremely varied and subtle color tone. Rich, heavily textured lemon yellow to pale blue and seafoam green are delineated by extremely warm burnt and raw umbers. The composition has a provocative cubist format where faceted shapes create multiple points of perspective. Very deep violet coloration in areas accentuates the literal depth of this outstanding work.

Oil painting on stretched canvas. Oil paint is impregnated with sand, giving a heavily textured appearance to the painting. Simple newer Modernist lathe wood frame with gilded edge. Fine crazing in areas (pigment is very stable).
