Ben Jorj Harris is listed, and is renowned as being one of America's first airbrush artists, whose work is highly collected. He was a cover artist for magazines such as Collier's and also worked on sheet music covers, book illustrations, and for many of the 1940s shows.

Ben Jorj Harris is known for portraits and flowers, and this painting incorporates both of those subjects. This work features smooth, sharp images and very subtle gradations of tone and color. Medium: Original Airbrush Watercolor Painting on Paper (this is not a print). Size: Framed approximately 18 1/8"h x 15 7/8"w; the image site is 15.5"h x 13 5/8"w. Condition: The painting is in very nice condition, perhaps because it has always been housed under the frame's original glass.

The wood frame is dirty and has some scratches, nicks and color loss, especially to the corners. The painting is not secure in the frame, the framing back tacks need to be tightened up. The backing paper has paper loss and tape, and the back paper is coming off. Label on the back is also torn and taped and is coming off. On the front lower left stands for Newman Decor.
