Artist Bio: Etta was born on July 11, 1924 in St. In 1946, Etta married LeRoy Benjamin and together the couple created the nationally known LeRoy Brothers marionette act, in which Etta acted. Etta and LeRoy made Hollywood their home and soon embarked upon a new business venture, Hillside House of Originals, an art gallery and framing store.

This venture led to the creation of a line of Ettas own artwork. Etta was an abstract artist and floral arrangements were a favorite subject matter of her paintings. Rather than giving her paintings titles, Etta preferred to number the paintings.

Her paintings are typically signed either Cien or Etta and most were painted between 1950 and 1970. Etta's art was exhibited in several permanent showrooms nationwide, including one in the World Trade Center in Dallas.
