American Legion Large 89 Hand Painted Cloth Banner Sign Ad 1941 Vtg Original

This listing is for a large 89" long 21" tall hand painted sign / advertisement banner canvas? Advertising the American Legion Post 554 of Pine Creek Valley (in Southwestern Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh PA).

This vintage original piece is completely Hand Painted, and whats even better is it's signed and dated! On the bottom right we can see it says Craighead Signs (a local Pittsburgh company to my understanding) and it is dated 1-9-41 (1941). The provenance is unfortunately not fully known but it probably has one heck of a story. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won't have!
