The first name ends in "glano" and the bottom looks like Madrid. " The finely detailed ladies hand fan measures 8 ½" long not counting the braided brass ring.

In the open position it measures 16 inches wide. On the front is a miniature painting depicting a Queen and her court in her garden. Cupid is about to shoot an arrow at the queen. Signed on the right "Clapes" this painting has a tiny rub to the queens face.

There are no other problems or any splits to the silk cloth. On the other side is a second miniature painting depicting classical architecture in a floral garden.

Another interesting feature is on the carved front, near the top is a small silver medallion of a woman's profile. There is no reserve on this 19.
