Antique French Box with Miniature signed hand painted portrait under glass

Gorgeous Antique French Box This box is French made and stamped France on the Back It features a nicely done hand painted portrait with lots of detail. The painting is signed and is under glass. The box itself is very ornate as you can see in the pictures.

The inside is lined with pink velvet type material. Measures 4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/8. CONDITION: excellent antique condition Strong hinge, no wiggles... All lines up with no gaps. The box snaps close with a snap.

THINGS TO POINT OUT: Some minor patina, a little more on the front side. The bottom has some scratches as expected. Other items shown are not included unless specified. If you like my things please add me to your Favorite Sellers List.
