Antique Victorian Oil Lamp Electric Painted Glass Globes Hurricane Lamp Signed. Up for sale is a gorgeous antique hand painted double glass globes with hurricane chimney oil lamp (20 tall, 8 diameter) converted to electricity in the mid 1900s. The globes are aqua with hand painted trumpet flowers and ferns and signed Donna. The base has claw feet and has a brass well for the oil lamp to sit in. The top globe has a few rough areas along the top rim, but those are the only defects of any kind that we found and they are not serious. It works great but would suggest that before too long, the cord be replaced as it feels stiff, so far no breaks in it.
