Signed 20th Century Modernist Abstract Expressionism Action Oil Painting on art board with original wood frame, Unknown Artist possibly dated 1966. We are offering this incredibly sophisticated signed Mid-20th Century original Abstract Expressionism painting acquired in Quebec, Canada signed & possibly dated 1966. This oil painting is of the highest quality we have offered and features intense and energetic movement with raised and carved application, spontaneous use of paint and masterful use of color. The painting has general artistic qualities or influences of notable 20th Century artists Jean-Paul Riopelle, Marcelle Ferron and Paul-Émile Borduas.

This painting measures approximately 26.75" width by 22.75" height in the frame. The artwork surface alone measures approximately 24" width by 20" height.

Condition: The painting is in excellent original condition and presents beautifully with no damages, odors or adverse issues. The dark finished wood frame has a gold color trim. The frame may have some light indications of use. The work is signed to the front lower right-hand side and also possibly dated 66, for 1966.
