Smirnov Valentin Sergeevich (1927 - 2009) Ukrainian painter, specializes in easel and monumental painting. Born July 13, 1927 in the city of Yaroslavl (Russia). In 1955 he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute, workshop of Professor Sergei Grigoriev. Since 1958 he has been a member of the National Union of Artists. He exhibited his works at annual Ukrainian national exhibitions, annual all-Union exhibitions, as well as at international exhibitions in Poland and Hungary. The Union of Artists of Ukraine twice awarded Smirnov V. Medal for the best artwork of the year. The artist's works are exhibited in many museums of Ukraine, kept in private collections, highly valued by collectors. Cm x 50 cm 23.6 x. One of a kind artwork.
