Evelina Yurievna BEKETOVA was born on March 2, 1976 in Lugansk. At the age of 4 she first came to Kyiv and was fascinated by the City. From the age of 15, Evelina Beketova has been painting his churches and squares, roofs and windows, people and their animals. After graduating from the Lugansk Art College in 1999, Evelina enters the Academy of Arts of Ukraine and begins to take part in exhibitions, competitions, and auctions.
2001 - All-Ukrainian youth exhibition, House of Artists. 2002 - Laureate of the Zaretsky Prize.
2005 - graduated from the Academy of Arts. The diploma work "The Fence around the Torah" is in the Jerusalem Center for Personal Development. 2007 - personal exhibition "Good mood through the looking glass", gallery "Mitets", Kyiv. 2008 - personal exhibition "Summer will not end soon", gallery "Mitets", Kyiv.2009 - personal exhibition "Towards the Sun", Republican House of Actor, Kyiv. 2009 - art project "Malyuemo SEBe ta Vsesvit", SEB-bank, Kyiv. 2010 - a family exhibition of Evelina, her husband Oleg Komarov and daughter Anastasia Komarov "Window on a good year" was held at SEB-bank. 2010 - personal exhibition Portraits of women, cats, streets... 2011 - personal exhibition "Walking of elephants, girls and samovars", personal exhibition "Portal from Summer to Autumn".
Evelina's paintings are in private collections in Ukraine and many countries around the world. The Cats on Kyiv Roofs series was acquired by the Cat Museum of Madrid and exhibited there. Evelina also paints interiors, her works adorn the walls of the houses of famous people.
Evelina's credo - always. One of a kind artwork. Paintings are carefully packed in order to protect from any damage during transportation. Cardboard paintings should be sent in a cardboard box. Canvas paintings should be sent rolled up on pipe covered with protecting materials.
