(March 5, 1929 - February 4, 2005) - Ukrainian artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978), Honored Artist of Ukraine (2004). Laureate of the regional art award named after M. He was born on March 5, 1929 in the village of Shainohah, now Radekhiv district of Lviv region.

Teachers of the specialty - O. Shainoga moved to Ternopil and began his career as a senior methodologist in fine arts in the regional House of Folk Art. From 1964 he worked as a monumental painter in the Ternopil branch (later - art and production workshops, factory) of the Art Fund of the USSR. He worked in the field of easel (landscape) and monumental painting. Shainoga was a participant in regional, national and international exhibitions, which took place in Ternopil, Lviv, Kiev, Moscow, Penza (both - Russia).

The first personal exhibition of the artist took place in 1994 in the gallery of the regional organization of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and the regional art museum, the next - in 1999. An important place in the artist's work is occupied by paintings painted during creative trips along the Yenisei, Sayan (Siberia, 1968), Caucasus (Abkhazia, 1984), Carpathian, Crimean mountains.

He died on February 4, 2005. Buried in the village of Stanislavchyk, Brody district, Lviv region. The works are stored in the funds of the Ternopil Art Museum. In 2006 a posthumous personal exhibition of the artist took place. 95 cm x 70 cm 37.4 x.
