Rapoport Boris Naumovich was born on July 27, 1922 in the village of Soroki in Bessarabia. In 1927, the artist's family moved to Odessa, and then to Kiev.
Having studied at the art school and the Kiev Art Institute. Participant of republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. In 1939, Boris Naumovich's little babies were exhibited at the International Art Exhibition in New York, USA.
Rapoport are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Poltava Art Museum, Donetsk Regional Art Museum, Berdyansk Art Museum. Brodsky, the Lebedinsky City Art Museum, the National Museum in Lviv named after Andrey Sheptytsky and other museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. 1945 - exhibition of works by artists of the First Ukrainian Front, Vienna. 1955 - reporting exhibition of artists of Kyiv, Kyiv.

In the museum context, the works were shown for the first time. 2014 - exhibition "Motherland Links", Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine, Kyiv. Since 1950 - Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Personal exhibitions were held in Kiev, Lvov, Chernivtsy, Baltsy from 1960 to 1980.Main works: "Above the Dnipro" (1949), "Tarasova Gora" (1961), "Kyiv Chestnuts" (1963), "Spring in Krim" (1970), "Babina Summer" (1974), "Carpathy" (1986), "Virmeniya" (1989), "Spring" (1990), "Winter Day" (1995), "Winter Wound" (1996). The artist's paintings are exhibited at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Poltava, Donetsk Art Museum, the National Museum near Lviv and other museum and private collections in Ukraine and beyond the cordon.
