Vintage Desert Scape Oil on Canvas, signed & framed. This is a small, but beautifully rendered and detailed oil on canvas by artist Mexican artist Palencia. This artist also painted adobe mission scenes in addition to desertscapes. This is a one of a kind painting of a desert scene and is signed on the bottom, lower left.
The painting is in very good condition. The linen border has a few slight stains that are hardly noticeable but I must mention it. Brown wooden 2 dimensional frame has a few knicks here and there but in no way takes away from this painting, it actually gives it that original rustic look. Please see photos as part of the description. The piece framed measures 12 x 10, the painting measures 7 x 5. Please note that most of our vintage art is just that, vintage.In most cases, the frames may have small flaws from age but these pieces are in very good, used condition.
