The bottom right corner is signed Spoon, but I couldnt figure out a first name. If its an amateur work, theyre very talented.

The foreground has cacti and small bushes, and the background mountains are out of focus, like in a photograph. The bottom right corner might say 79, but it could also be part of the painting and not a year. Without that, I would date the painting to the 60s or 70s based on the frame.
