Painter, born in Liverpool, Merseyside. Following his studies at Liverpool College of Art. He relocated first to Hertfordshire, then to the South Downs in his pursuit of landscape painting. In the 1960's Gordon Bradshaw taught at Bishop's Stortford College.

He was subsequently an art lecturer at Portsmouth Art College, before settling in France, where he still lives. An exhibition in the Ezair Gallery in New York, in 2003, recent shows in Portsmouth and Liverpool and representation in UK public collections have ensured continuing interest in his work.
