Vintage 1962 Dr. John Van Dyke Original Casein Landscape Painting Signed

Vintage 1962 original casein painting on canvas board, signed Van Dyke and dated lower left. Last picture shows how it looks framed, frame is NOT included. This was in a Canton art Institute art show. It is 21 1/4" by 15".

Canvas board has some waving/bowing. Please see pictures for details and condition. Information I could find on the artist. Van Dyke was a 20th century medical doctor and amateur artist.

He is mentioned in an article from The Sun (Canton newspaper) in 1952 as being the Canton Health commissioner. He is also mentioned in an article from The Sun in 1964 stating he was an amateur artist and won an award at the Louisville Art Show.
