He specialized in Pastels and was a member of the PSA, Pastel Society of America. He taught the technique of pastel painting and was recognized with awards. This painting is of a Farm House and Barn with acres of Beautiful Land. The colors have not faded at all.
Here he uses greens and reds to ground the house to the land. At the top of the painting Konis uses blues to show the viewer the thick forest beyond. This is a Grand Example of his work. The image measures 16"x12".The Gold Frame measures 29 1/2"x25 1/2". This experienced Framer gave the painting the Most Worthy Mount.
