Vintage Hardware Store Tip Top Paint Brush Advertising Sign Jersey City NJ

Here's a nice vintage collectible, and I dare say it's a rarity. It was set up on the top of some display shelving.

Had been there for decades. I Googled the TipTop paint brush company to get some background information, but didn't come up with much.

My guess is that the sign is from the 1960s. Dimensions: 48" wide x 9" high x 1/8 thick.

The board material is Masonite. It looks like the printing and graphics are silkscreened, but I'm not an expert on that sort of thing.

I took the listing pictures on an overcast day but the colors are pretty good. The background is off-white, not a bright white. The sign was very dusty when I got it. I sprayed it with Windex and wiped it off carefully.

It cleaned up far better than I thought it would. Note a small, oval-shaped blemish on bottom-left of silver rectangle box.

There is also some minor spotting on bottom right corner of the sign. All in all, this classic old sign is in excellent vintage condition.
