This wonderfully bold and colorful oil on canvas from the 1950-s=60=s measures 29 ½ x 34 ½ in its original distressed wood frame; 25 x 30 actual and retains an old exhibition label on the back as shown. The work has bold black slashes, rich impasto and brilliant colors and looks like 10 million bucks on the wall. It has no signature and there is a dimple/push-out from the back (no tear) with some in-painted paint loss. There is a small unstable area in the heavily layered paint where it is lifting ever so slightly as seen in the close-ups.

The period frame has superficial scuffs and complements the work nicely.
