Vintage Oil Painting Superstition Mountains Arizona Signed F Krappel 14 X 30

This is a very nice, original oil painting of what I believe is a scene in the Superstition Mountains region of Arizona. It is signed by the artist F. Krappel, and I believe this likely dates from the mid-1960s.

From what I've found, this artist was an amateur, they aren't in any of the reference books I have, but I've seen similar works by this same name that date from that period of the early to mid 1960s. It measures overall 14 X 30 inches and is on canvas board. I think it is a remarkable painting, I love the colors. In person it is even more striking. It is unframed, and has been in storage for many years. There is no damage to the piece, but it could stand a light cleaning. This work would add immensely to any Southwestern decor!
