Vintage Oil Paintingblack Americanasigned Wawalkerloading Cotton. The South

A rare painting of BLACK AMERICANA loading cotton from about 1900 in the USA SOUTH. It portrays a family and horses and wagon in a cotton field. It is oil on canvas measuring 15 1/4 inches high by 25 3/4 inches wide and needs a cleaning and conservation.

There are numerous brown spots that are throughout the painting that will need conservation as I don't know what they are.. It is signed lower right WAWALKER. It is unframed and the stretcher bars are loose and appear to be homemade.
