Offered here is an early OIL WELL advertising plate in painted tin - the type used by petroleum distributors, equipment dealers, and supply houses. These small-format dealer plates are significantly harder to find than larger later tin signs and were often mounted on pumps, barrels, tanks, or service equipment. If you collect early petroleum or industrial signage, you know how tough these little tags are to come by. Original painted tin (not reproduction).
