Vintage Original Miniature Oil Painting -Nocturne Cityscape Soldiers -Signed. Very well done small painting.

A group of soldiers shouldering rifles and rucksacks are crossing stone bridge over a canal. Buildings rise up all around them, the architecture is dense -a fine hand tapered them off into the darkening distance. It is early morning and a lantern illuminates along with light from windows above them as the first solider over the bridge steps into the new sunshine. The canvas is well filled and rich with detail.
