Vintage Original Oil Painting Morris Katz 1962 Seascape Coast Ocean Waves. For sale is a vintage original oil painting on board by listed and world famous artist, Morris Katz (1931 - 2010). It was painted in 1962 and is signed and dated lower right. The painting is of a coastal ocean scene with waves braking over a rock formation. There is a big LA on the back of the board.

It is done with palette knife. Overall, the painting is in excellent condition with the exception of a hairline crack near the signature and a chip in the board on the lower left corner. This painting is large at 46 ½ by 23 ½ inches (image).
