Frame: Framed in wood frame measuring 27.5 x 37. Frame has chipping to the gilt gesso (see photos). Condition of Artwork: Due to age, could be benefited by a professional cleaning. Otherwise, canvas in very good condition.
Original vintage oil on canvas depicts a bucolic setting, cows by a river, in the style of Hudson River School. We could not find out much about the artist. However, it is signed W.In addition, there is a sticker on the back of the frame stating his name and time frame. Someone was able to research him. This piece was acquired from a local dealer who is downsizing, preparing to move out-of-state. Please, due to fragility of the piece, no international orders.
