Her Passion and most Beautiful works were Mountains Landscapes & Seascapes. About the Artist Frances Trusdell: Frances J. Trusdell, my Grandmother, came to the US from Germany in 1914.

She Lived in Indiana until moving to Camp Lagoon on Camano Island in Washington State in the 1950's. There in her home she had a small studio she named The. Camano Art Center & Gallery.

Here she created her art projects, painted and began Teaching. She Loved and was well known for Painting Mountain Landscapes & Seascapes. She also did a occasional Portraits' and Still Life.

Paintings were shown at the Frye Art Museum and she won many accolades. Later she met and married Richard Trusdell. Where she lived, painted and taught art classes. With students driving in from all over the state, including many driving in from Seattle. I spent almost all my Summers with my Grandma.

Having Fun on the Camano Island Farm with my Cousins while she gave classes. Her favorite statement most every day was I Love My Life!

Frances Trusdell's Camano Art Center survived for over thirty five years until she passed at age 92 in Sept of 1989. She was a Amazing Woman, Joy filled Woman, Artist and Grandmother?? Condition is very good for a 75 year old original Oil Painting moved 5 times over the years. Only one mystery defect A thin red line mark on the right side. I didn't notice until I got it out of storage. I honestly don't know where it came from. Contact me with any Questions.
