This is an old antique original mixed media painting on paper artist signed Crite or Erite. I can not read it but it could also be Laite. The name is done or written in with pin pricks or holes like brail. There is a Gordon Laite that did illustrations in similar manor. The wood frame is 14 3/4" by 29 3/4" and image seen is 8 1/4" by 20". It features a stylized whimsical fantasy fairly like lady that is spinning yarn and has a catacomb Wasp nest like hairstyle. On her head is a grasshopper. It has a gold matt and black painted contemporary frame. It has no glass and weighs four pounds. The art work is in very nice condition.
