Vintage Velvet Unicorn & Pegasus Paintings Framed MCM 1960s 1970s Mexico Signed

These two beautiful vintage mid-century modern paintings of the mighty Pegasus and a Unicorn are on black velvet backgrounds with rough-sawed hand-carved frames. These items are from the 1960s or 70s.

And are quite lovely for their age. The velvet has attracted some dust, but I was able to remove some of it from the non-painted surfaces with a roller.

I'll leave the rest to you! The frames measure about 13 x 22 and show minor wear consistent with age.

The paintings are BOLDLY signed by Paul. There is no country of origin, but judging by the construction and carving of the frames, these were probably made in Mexico.
