This stunning painting isn't just vintage, but like the artist's other works, and the artist's active period, it can be estimated to be from the 1920s to 1930s, making it approximately 100 yrs old and considered antique. This is hand painted on silk in rich, vibrant colors on the figure and her clothing. It is signed and stamped by the renowned Japanese artist Ishikawa Kiyohiko, who known for painting beautiful women, and this Japanese Geisha lady is no different. The condition is quite good in general, but is excellent for its age. One very small, 1mm hole, to the right of the signature; the frame shows a nail again to the right of the signature.

Both of these are in the pictures. See all the pictures as part of the description.

The framing nail was done clearly decades ago and has been left as-is since the frame is quite sturdy. Measures 16" tall, 14.25" wide including the frame, and 1.5 deep on the frame. The painting sits under glass for protection. As a good conditioned, antique, original Japanese piece of art, this is truly a rare find.
