Wonderful Vintage Mid Century Modern Colorful Textured Painting signed Geller
For sale is a wonderful, stunning mid century modern painting of people and horses in a park Central Park? With a church in the background. The colors are wonderful, vivid and bright, the canvas has been textured, a sand like texture. It is signed Geller but I can't find anything about the artist on line by using just the name Geller to search with. It is in very good condition with a few specs of paint that may or may not be original to the painting.
(photo's 7 & 8). And there is a gray smudge under the artist's signature.
The canvas is a bit loose and the protective paper in the back has been ripped and written on with black marker. It needs to be replaced.It has a light wooden frame with orange trim that is in good shape - it has a few dings and paint scrapes. It measures roughly 25-1/2 inches wide by 21-1/2 inches tall. As such, the items are not perfect. Even those items that are in great shape considering their age will usually have some minor flaws simply due to the age, general use, and shelf life.
